A JOURNAL OF CONTEMPORARY IRISH & IRISH AMERICAN AFFAIRS
Summer 2020 / VOL. 20 ISSUE 3
This Issue's Poem
What is the state of being
I need somebody to invite me
to an industrial strength party,
& then I need you to go with me.
Am I going to die alone & lonely?
Only god knows & that’s another
relationship I’ve been working on.
Let’s lie naked on a velvet couch.
Let’s lie. Let’s say you
are the cheese
atop my apple pie.
